Up until the Alcatraz Coup, the Cathedral was the major center of worship for those in the city of Bridges who practiced the Way of the Cards.
Completed in 1547 AC (After the Catastrophe), it was located in what is now the Spadros portion of the Pot, and was one of the first major structures built after the raising of the dome.
Staffed by the Dealers (consecrated priestesses who handle the Cards during their rites), the Cathedral was one of the largest and grandest buildings in Bridges. At the time of construction, the site the Cathedral stood upon was considered holy ground.
During the Coup, the Cathedral was invaded, sacked, and some say destroyed.
